The Battle is Still Real
I don’t write as much these days, but I still walk through pain daily. Some days are easier than others. Then there are moments when you realize you can’t keep everything bottled up. You have to be honest and humbly ask for prayer.
My body is still trying to recover from Christmas, and I know I’ll need another steroid injection soon to help with the pain on my left side. Thankfully, I’m scheduled to receive that shot on December 30th. Until then, I’m choosing to keep moving forward by faith.
As I lie here with ice, I’m asking for your prayers for peace, relief, and a good night’s rest. The enemy loves to attack me on Saturday nights, especially when God’s Word is about to be preached. But I never want my pain to get in the way of what God wants to do. My prayer is simply that God’s will be done in all things, because that’s what truly matters.
I trust He will come through again because He always does. I’m praying for each of you as well.
“Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.”
Psalm 55:22 (NLT)
