Praise God the Heat is On
After three long days of not being able to use any heat therapy, I’m finally starting to feel better. The recovery from this recent steroid injection felt like a torture chamber, especially with the cold weather cutting through me like a knife. Even so, I kept icing around the clock, patiently waiting for the storm to pass.
The moment I was finally able to use my heating pad and take a hot bath, it felt like Heaven. I’m not sure why the past three days were so rough this time, but I do know that injection went deep into my back and all the way down to my feet. I have no doubt that even greater relief will come over the next 7–10 days.
I’m officially starting 2026 grateful and finally comfortable pain wise. I truly believe I’m going to witness many breakthroughs this year. I’ve prayed and prepared more than ever going into this new year. I’m content but not complacent. I can’t wait to keep walking forward by faith and seeing God work.
Thank You, God, for carrying me through another year and another day.
I’m praying each of you has a God-made year. And if you don’t have a church home, I’d love to see you this Sunday at 9:15 or 11:00 AM at Refuge Church of Walterboro, SC. I’ll be preaching a new series called “Reset Your Life.”
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
