Let ‘Em Work, Let ‘Em Live

Let em work Let em live

A believing mindset really does make a huge difference. For reasons I still don’t understand I have such peace. Peace that everything will work itself out with time. Peace that God is still purposely using my hardship to shape me and encourage others. Peace that if I keep doing my part God will certainly do His.

Am I exhausted with the process? Absolutely? Do I wish like Jesus that I didn’t have to bear this cross? Absolutely! Do I still believe strongly God has a plan? Absolutely! I’ve learned that just because there is hardship doesn’t mean God is not at work. In fact, it is often in the midst of the greatest hardship God is doing His greatest work.

Often we don’t like to drive through construction zones. But those workers are out there for a purpose. It may inconvenience us for some time, but when their purposeful work is accomplished things will actually be improved. Just as their signs say “Let ‘em Work, Let ‘me Live.” We too must let God work things out for our good and His glory.

“ And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans 8:28
